Six People Killed in Licking Co. in three month span

The Licking County Health Department said six people lost their lives in five vehicle crashes from October to December in the county.

The Healthy Communities Coalition reported of the six fatalities one was a pedestrian, one was a motorcyclist without a helmet and three were not wearing seat belts.

Two fatalities involved drugged driving and one is suspected to have involved texting and driving.

The Safe Communities Coalition reminds drivers to focus on driving. Distracted driving is anything that hands, eyes or mind of the task of driving.
