Pet of the Week
ZANESVILLE, Ohio -Â For anyone looking for a cat, the Animal Shelter Society has many to choose from. Especially this weeks Pet of the Week, feline which is very friendly.
Executive Director, Jody Murray said Sprocket was given to the Animal Shelter Society in the first week of December. Sprocket is about five months old.
“He’s very friendly cat, likes people, likes other cats,” said Murray. “If someone is looking for a nice cat this would certainly be one of the ones that they should consider.”
Murray said Sprocket has already had his surgery, has been chipped, and his adoption fee is $35.00. Murray also wants to remind the community that the Comedy Night Fundraiser is still happening tomorrow.
“We do have some winter weather coming. There’s no plans to cancel the program at this point, but if something would unforeseen happened,” Murray said. “Please tune into WHIZ and look at our Facebook page and we’ll have announcements accordingly.”
The Comedy Night Fundraiser is January 14, 2017 at Bryan Place with doors opening at 7:30 P.M. Tickets are on sale for $20.00. For more information  contact The Animal Shelter Society by calling (740) 452-1077.
