“At Mid-Ohio Food Bank we know that fresh produce is the number one desire of the people who we serve,” Jess said. “So we really try to get fresh food out into the community as much as we possibly can.”

The market will start at 8:00 A.M. on February 1, 2016. Participants will meet in the large community room register and wait until their number is called to receive food. According to Pastor Terrence Brown the church was asked to offer their church for this market and Brown immediately was happy to provide the building.

“We’re excited, because not only is the building here to be used, but we get a chance to help and just to see the expressions on people’s faces,” Brown said. “As you’re helping them, assisting them, it’s just an honor to us.”

There will be church members assisting with parking, food loading, setting up and tearing down. The Greater Apostolic Church of Christ is located at 1651 South State Street in Zanesville.
