Balderson Named to Senate Finance Committee
State Senator Troy Balderson has been named to the Senate Finance Committee for the 132nd General Assembly. The Finance Committee is the influential panel charged with reviewing and revising the state’s biennial budget proposal, which fund state government and provides funding support for primary and secondary education efforts and the state’s Medicaid program. Balderson says he is thrilled to be appointed to the committee and looks forward to working with Senate colleagues to address the needs of the region and the entire state of Ohio. Balderson was also appointed to Chair the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
