Zanesville, Ohio- The Salvation Army in Zanesville is raising awareness of human trafficking this weekend.

The Salvation Army will host Anchored for Justice tomorrow at 2pm in the Salvation Army Gymnasium. The Director of Anchored for Justice Lilly Paisley expresses the urgency of educating the public on a 34 billion dollar industry.

“Human Trafficking is in our backyard. People are not educated on Human Trafficking and they just think it’s another girl walking the streets and really don’t know all of the aspects of human trafficking and it’s really important to become educated on this.”

The event tomorrow will be in remembrance of Barbara Frame and other people currently missing. Paisley described the keynote speaker whose family was directly impacted.

“We will have a speaker, her name is Kadie Lancaster. She is from Portsmouth, Ohio and she has a missing sister-in-law that’s been missing since April 2013. She’s gonna be here to discuss all the difference searches that have taken place on her case and how she has gotten that into not only the social media but into TV.”

Paisley welcomes everyone to come out tomorrow and support the families of missing people.
