2-1-1 Calls Increase with Monthly Report

2017.02.10. 211.

Zanesville, Ohio United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties shows an increase in 2-1-1 calls with its monthly report.

United Way received a spike of over 1,200 calls this past month. Executive Director Meg Deedrick explained the increase comes from the addition of scheduling of on going tax clinics through 2-1-1

“We started in Late January and will be through early April to assist people with relatively simple tax returns to get those completed and filled and have all that return come back into household income.”

Deedrick is optimistic for future opportunities and noted they will be hosting their all grants meeting this Monday February 13th at 3 o’clock in the John McIntire Public Library.

“That’s a very important date on our organizations calendar because its going, it’s the first step in determining how we are going to invest the income we have raised through campaign and who our partners are going to be in helping us achieve goals in the income, education, and health sector in the upcoming year.”

Deedrick encourages anyone who is looking for more information to dial 2-1-1
