Michael A. Frost (July 3, 1969 – February 12, 2017)

Michael A. Frost, 47, of Zanesville, died at 11:43 A.M. on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House, Zanesville. He was born July 3, 1969, in Zanesville, son of the late Albert and Margie Donaldson Frost. Michael was a Laborer out of Local #530 and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also loved the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Tonya Riley Frost, whom he married March 17, 1990; a daughter, Sarah (Morgan) Lawton of Newcomerstown; a grandson, Dawson Wayde Lawton; three sisters, Claudia Flynn of Norwich, Katherine (Joseph) Paryzek of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Monica (Bryce) Lingenfelter of Blairsville, Georgia; many nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Wayne (Jenifer) Hansford of Gaffney, South Carolina.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Flynn.

A dignified cremation has taken place, friends and family may call from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2016 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where full Military Honors will be accorded to him at 4:00 P.M. by the United States Marine Corps in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058 and the American Legion Post 29.
