ZANESVILLE, Ohio – For anyone wanting to help an old dog out this weeks dog is for you.

Grant is an eight year old calm beagle mix who is looking for a fur-ever home. Jody Murray the Executive Director said Grant will be updated on his shots and micro-chipped when adopted.

“He was a surrender to us the folks were not able to keep him anymore and so he came into us,” Murray said. “You know he gets a long with people gets a long with other animals. His adoption fee has been reduced because he is an older guy.

Grant’s adoption fees are $20.00. Grant’s very calm, loving, and Murray is assuming Grant has undoubtedly cuddled up to people before. The Shelter Society is also asking people to mark their calendars for the third annual Yappy Hour on Thursday March 30, 2017.

“It’s a really fun event down at the country club, always very nice appetizers,” Murray said. “We’ll have a few auction items that night so mark that on your calendar and keep watching our Facebook page for updates.”
