ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Zanesville golfers took to the course today.

With the temperatures nearly 20 degrees above average, many golfers enjoyed the warm weather today at Green Valley Golf Course. General Manager, Steve Galloway explained even without the beautiful weather the course remains open for the daring faithful.

“We have some very faithful golfers out here that if there is no snow on the ground, they’re golfing. You know if it’s 35 or above they’re pretty dedicated golfers but as you see by the weather we have both parking lots are full, and you know with presidents day being tomorrow we look and anticipate for a big day tomorrow too.”

Galloway noted even though it’s 65 degrees, the course still remains on winter rates.

“We’re still on our winter rates and we will be on our winter rates through the end of march so everybody comes out and takes advantage of that and you know for eight dollars you can play all the golf you wanna play walking.”

Shortly after Galloway himself set out to golf the day away.
