Chamber of Commerce Spring Break

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Spring Break is happening March 24, 2017, well for Chamber of Commerce Members that is.
This is an annual membership meeting where they’ll acknowledge board members coming in and leaving, they’ll give out investment awards, and acknowledge those businesses that participated in the safety council program.
“Spring break themed, so we encourage the people attending to wear casual attire,” Matz said. “We’ll be playing loud music having fun. Poking fun at each other, but having recognition for the businesses.”
This will be an opportunity for businesses to attend, compare, and discuss how they can grow in the community and how other businesses will be expanding.
“Well if you don’t come to this event you’re going to miss out on a lot of fun, you’re going to miss out on an opportunity to network with your local business people, and a chance to see what’s going on in the business community,” said Matz.
This year’s guest speaker is Rik Roberts discussing The Mayberry Method, which is increasing productivity by nipping distractions in the bud.
“In the past, we’ve had comedians, we’ve had magicians, and we’re happy this year to bring Rik Roberts in,” Matz said. “Rik Roberts does a mix of comedy and business.”
The event will take place on March 24, 2017, in the O.U.Z. Littick Gymnasium starting at 7:00 A.M. and will last about 2 hours. For more information contact the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce by calling (740) 455-8282.
