Eileen J. Giles (March 20, 1940 – March 16, 2017)

Eileen J. Giles, 76, of Zanesville, died at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She was born March 20, 1940, in McConnellsville, a daughter of the late Dana and Opal Bryan Knox. She was an assembler for Essex Wire/Lear Corporation for forty-five years, was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #302, and loved to play cards and travel.

She is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Gary F. Giles, whom she married March 27, 1971; two step-sons, Frank and Timothy Giles; several grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Kay Morgan of Huber Heights, Sonya Macklem of Zanesville, and Karen Porter of Caldwell; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. with Mr. Matt Mehaffey officiating.  She will be entombed at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
