Zanesville, Ohio – The Muskingum Economic Opportunity Action Group Incorporated has found their newest C.E.O.

The new C.E.O. is Steve Wilson and he has been with the company for 34 years this July and has enjoyed his time with the company. Wilson is looking forward to growing in his position.

“Sixteen years ago I became the deputy director,” Wilson said. “When you go home at night you’re very rewarded with what you know you accomplished and how you’ve helped people in the community. So that’s probably what’s kept me here for so long.”

The previous C.E.O. was Nancy Pierce who will be retiring on April 4,2017 and Wilson will officially start on April 5, 2017. M.E.O.A.G. is a non-profit organization.

“Our Services for the most part benefit the low to moderate income families here in Muskingum County,” Wilson said. “So you know we help with utility assistance. We weatherize homes, which cut down on the usage.”

M.E.O.A.G. also provides affordable housing, and a meals on wheels program for Muskingum County. Wilson is looking forward to expanding these services and helping future clients.
