Morgan County Troops to Deploy Saturday

A big sendoff is planned for some soldiers who are being deployed out of Morgan County. This coming Saturday at 10:00 a.m. motorcycle groups will rally at the VFW Post in Malta and then head to Morgan High School where they will escort 300 troops from the Hawk Missile Base  to Rickenbacker Air Base in Columbus. A large group of supporters are expected to line the streets of the Morgan County Village and multiple motorcycle groups will take part in the fire truck procession that will take place. Organizers say they will leave Morgan High School around 11:30 or 11:45 a.m. and  pass through Duncan Falls by the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department  who are part of the escort. The public is invited to take part in the send off on Saturday.
