Newark man charged for possession of child pornography

NEWARK, Ohio – The Licking County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Newark man for possessing child pornography.

Licking County Sheriff’s acted on information provided by the Brunswick Police Department in Medina County.

A search warrant was conducted on March 31, 2017, inside the home of Jordan K. Hall on Oregon Ave. in Newton Township. Detectives were able to make contact with Hall at the time, and arrested him at the scene.

Hall eventually admitted to downloading multiple images and videos of prepubescent children onto his computer.

Detectives seized media devices in which Hall admitted were used to download the child pornography.

Hall is currently in the Licking County Justice Center awaiting further criminal proceedings.
