Crooksville Man Convicted of Trafficking
A Crooksville man faces up to four years in prison after being found guilty of drug trafficking.
60-year-old John Wager was found guilty Wednesday in Perry County Common Pleas Court on four counts of trafficking in cocaine, all fifth-degree-felonies.
According to Sgt. Kevin Starrett, the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, the Crooksville Police Department and Ohio Investigative Unit- Division of Liquor Control worked together to obtain the conviction.
Their investigation began after receiving numerous complaints about drug activity at a Crooksville bar in summer 2009.
A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered and Wagner should be sentenced at the end of January.
