ZANESVILLE, OH – An annual Expo is returning to the Muskingum County Fairgrounds.

The 50 + Expo will be held on Wednesday, April 29th from 10AM until 2PM in the Veteran’s Building.

Gail Deitrick, the Treasure of the Fair Board, says this event is meant to help out those who are 50 and older locate resources here in the community that they might not have known about before.

“We’ve just found that it’s so helpful and that the response has been great too.” Deitrick said. “You know that the people coming in are excited to see and learn all of these things. Sometimes, this is an age group that gets kind of unnoticed and so this is very helpful to them to let them know that all is available out there.”

There are still vendor spaces available for those who are interested.

Jonna Sharp, the Director, says in addition to all of the resources and vendors they’ll have there will also be some entertainment for those in attendance.

“We have so much going on, we will have a 50/50 raffle, a chance auction, we always have some really nice items up that you can bid on.” Sharp said. “We have 2 sources of entertainment this year, very good, nice to listen to. We have a free light lunch, we haven’t set the amount yet, but a limited quantity and then we will be selling food at our food stand in the area.”
