Donald Stewart

Donald R. Stewart, 90, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 6, 2026. The son of Victor and Edna (Houghton) Stewart, born April 8, 1935 in Zanesville, Ohio.

He spent the majority of his life in Zanesville, where he retired there as a master plumber. He was known for his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, and spent his retirement years in Lake Hughes, CA, Avon Park, FL, and Dingmans Ferry, PA.

Mr. Stewart, a U.S. Army veteran, is survived by his wife of 65 years Marjorie M. Enochs, whom he married May 24, 1960; a son, Matthew (Barbara) Stewart of Fairview, TN, and a daughter, Amy (Sean) McFeely of Dingmans Ferry, PA; grandchildren, Kyle (Laura) Stewart, Adam (Kaili) Stewart, Holly Stewart, Ryan (Susan) Stewart, Abbey (Owen) Ingrey, and Rebecca McFeely; great-grandchildren Blakely, Madeline, and Addie Stewart; sisters, Dorothy Robinson, Martha (Bud) Hardesty, Jeannette Hilterbrand, and brother-in-law Donald Enochs, all siblings in Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Marian Peck, Lorain Dilley, Geraldine Wallin, and Joy Daw.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in Don’s memory.

A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls. Family will greet friends from 10am until 12pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Pastor Adam Wahle will officiate. Donald will be laid to rest at Duncan Falls Cemetery following the service.
