Postcard Pandemonium is coming to the Roseville Branch Library
An event to get local teens out to the library

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Teens are invited to Postcard Pandemonium at the Roseville Branch Library this Friday.
The Muskingum County Library System is hosting the program, where participants can let their creativity fly and make a unique and memorable postcard. Marketing Assistant Rob Cook says reaching out to teens in the community is an important goal of the event, as is creating a fun experience.
“It’s to try and create an atmosphere of creativity and creative writing in a fun way that they can sort of put the phones down for an hour and then just get creative and then meet other teens too,” Cook said.
The Roseville Branch Library will have all of the materials you need to make a postcard. When you’re done, the postcard can be taken home or mailed out to whomever you’d like. If you find yourself struggling for ideas, the library will have prompts available for you to build off of.
“You know, maybe your cat is writing you a postcard. What would the cat say? Or you’re writing a postcard to yourself from the future. What would you say to your past self? Stuff like that to get the creative juices flowing,” Cook said.
The event starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Roseville Branch Library located at 41 North Main Street in Roseville. The event is intended for those between the ages of 12 and 18. More information can be found on the Muskingum County Library System’s website.
