Chamber of Commerce recognizes new Local Business

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Chamber of Commerce recognized a new business in Zanesville today.

Russo’s Wood Fired Pizza on Maple Avenue was honored with a ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon to celebrate their official grand opening. Co-Owners Anthony and Vincent Russo explain they have always wanted to open a business in their hometown.

“We were born and raised here in Zanesville, went to school here, always wanted to do something locally we grew up in the industry, our family has two other businesses here in town. It’s always been a passion of ours and we are finally able to do it.”

Russo’s Wood Fired Pizza offers customers a personal experience in which individuals can customize their own pizza from the sauce to the toppings.

“It’s all a personal size pizza and so we are limited as far as the size of pizza and we really want to be highly customizable, individualized. You can come in, the price point is up to four toppings if you create your own pizza. We have several different varieties of sauces, cheeses and toppings.”
