Coshocton Restaurant opening in Dresden

DRESDEN, Ohio- A Coshocton restaurant is expanding to a town near you.
The Warehouse Steak N’ Stein located in Roscoe Village in Coshocton has opened a second restaurant in Dresden. Muskingum County’s Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new business with a ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon. The new restaurant has taken over the space of what many remember as The Depot. Owner, John Larson explains he has always had a connection with the Dresden area and felt there was need for a casual sit down restaurant.
“I’m from this area I’ve been High School Principal, worked for the school district for 26 years so I knew the people of Dresden and Tri-Valley area. I just thought there was a need for something casual but something of good quality. What were doing is bringing what we do in Roscoe Village in Coshocton to Dresden.”
Larson says they are known for their onion rings but provide a variety of food.
“You know we are famous for our legendary onion rings that my father and uncle Bud Arnold created back in the 1950s and 60s that was at the old Steak N’ Stein. But also they will find a pork tenderloin sandwich the Steak N’ Stein has. We smoke our ribs we have great ribs, sweet potato fries. We have I think one of the best burgers in the area so we feel like we put good casual food out as well as you can get a good steak.”
Larson is excited for the opportunity in Dresden and looks forward to the future.
