Zanesville City Schools welcome 2017 Hall of Fame Inductees

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-  Zanesville City Schools welcomed their 2017 class of Hall of Famers this evening.

The 10th annual induction ceremony was held at Zanesville High School where 10 individuals joined the Hall of Fame. President of the Hall of Fame Committee, Wayne Carpenter, explains several hundred people were in attendance to welcome this year’s inductees.

“200 people here in attendance tonight. We have a wonderful dinner and each inductee will be presented by someone they have chosen to introduce them and they will talk for a minimum of 3 to 5 minutes.”

Carpenter says while the inductees may vary in careers, they have all excelled in their field.

“We have many people who have been outstanding community leader many have been outstanding supporters of the Zanesville City Schools, some have become doctors, attorneys, great educators and they’ve taken their careers to a high level.”
