ZANESVILLE, Ohio – For those out there with an appetite for various foods you’re in luck for the third Food Truck Rally is May 20, 2017.

Zanesville Jaycees is gearing up for 15 food trucks to come to Zanesville’s Restoration Park located on 252 Muskingum Avenue. Board Member Mike Fulmer said they’re having the truck rally down at restoration park due to better parking access and traffic flow.

“We’re actually going to have part of the road shut down,” Fulmer said. “The trucks are actually going to park right on the side of the curb and they’re going to be open up serving directly into the park. Muskingum Avenue will still be open, we’ll have an officer here directing traffic so people can still get through if they need to.”

The Bridge Cafe and Expressive Graphics will have their parking areas open for the event. The Food Truck Rally started after Jaycees realized how big the Columbus food truck rallies were. Fulmer said after seeing how the community reacted to the first Zanesville Food truck Rally they decided to keep it going.

“So we did last year and that went really well,” Fulmer said. “Our first one the weather did not cooperate at all. It was rainy, cold and everybody came out anyway. So [I] looked at the forecast today, It’s supposed to be mid 80 degrees with a slight chance of rain, but it should be an awesome day to come out and get some really good food.”

The Food Truck Rally will be May 20, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. They’ll have dance performances, a DJ all day, and music by Matt Frampton starting at 5:30 P.M. For more information check out zanesvillejaycees.org
