Chad Kettlewell Named ArtCOZ Artist of the Month

ZANESVILLE, OH – Chad Kettlewell has been named the Artcoz Artist of the Month for May.
Kettlewell is a photographer who had been snapping photos since he was a kid but didn’t get really serious about his work until his honeymoon.
He says he thought it was a camera issue so after getting some better equipment he learned it was actually user error, but continued to work and hone his craft.
“I enjoy anything that’s outside, I enjoy being in nature, doing landscapes, wildlife, that kind of thing.” Kettlewell said. “But really any outside photography I enjoy.”
He says it’s an honor to be named as the Artist of the Month and has prepared some gloomy landscapes, stormy days, as well as some small prints to purchase.
Kettlewell will be at the Downtown Exchange as part of the Artisans Market, so there will be plenty for people to see during the Artwalk.
“They’re going to have a dozen artists and other vendors in there so folks can come in, shop, get something to eat.” Kettlewell said. “I just wanted to mention some of the other things that are happening on First Friday this month; the Artloft has their May flower Show, so there’s a lot of regional and local artists that have submitted material for that. Kelly Wiler has GirlUpcycled and has her friends and a lot of artists that are over there with her this month, at ZAAP Terry Curtain is the Artist of the Month and he’s got a lot of interesting and fun things to look at.”
Kettlewell added that Visit Zanesville is also providing Trolley Rides for First Friday that will stop along at the many galleries in town.
