ZANESVILLE, Ohio — There was a light schedule at  Monday’s Zanesville City Council meeting.

Only six ordinances were discussed — one new proposal and five that were up for action — all of which were passed. The new ordinance proposed was a moral claim, in which a local community member is requesting the city pay a bill that they are legally not required to pay, but feels they should consider under moral standards. The ordinance will be moved to the next Public Service meeting on June 12th.

Among those passed was an ordinance authorizing the implementation of new community development fees for the city of Zanesville. Below is a list of full ordinances passed at tonight’s meeting.

Ordinance No. 17-44: Introduced by Council – An Ordinance authorizing the implementation of new Community Development fees for the City of Zanesville. (Third Reading) – PASSED.
