Muskingum County Jeepers gearing up to host Go Topless Day to benefit Veterans and First Responders

ZANESVILLE, OH- An annual worldwide tradition is returning to Muskingum County this month to bring together Jeep enthusiasts and community members for a cause beyond the road.
Muskingum County Jeepers is gearing up for its third year participating in the Barricade Go Topless Day, an event that celebrates the start of spring while raising money for charity.
While the tradition is rooted in Jeep culture, organizers say anyone with any type of vehicle is welcome to join.
“On we will be gathering John Hinderer Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Heath Ohio, registration for the event will start at 11 o’clock a.m., we will have the Jeep ride and we will roll out at 1 o’clock, we will food trucks there, a barbecue truck, American Hero Hunt has a food truck that they are going to have there, and we have the Snow Shack which is a snow cone trailer that’s going to be there, we’re going to have raffle prizes, we’re going to have half and half drawings, we’ve got a DJ scheduled, we’re going to have an obstacle course for the Jeeps to go through, American Hero Hunt has a bow shoot that they’ve set up,” said Muskingum County Jeepers member Chad Haren.
All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit American Hero Hunt, a nonprofit organization that provides Veterans and First Responders with outdoor experiences like hunting, fishing, and camping trips.
The organization says its mission is to give back to those who have served by offering opportunities for education, relaxation, and adventure. Since launching, the nonprofit has taken more than 110 Veterans and First Responders on fully outfitted, all expenses paid trips.
“I’m looking forward to just the community, getting the community together, like minded individuals for one cause, like Chad has mentioned, getting together the America 250, getting together for Veterans and First Responders, getting the community together hanging out, going on a ride, that’s…going to be a fun day for everyone involved,” said President and Founder of American Hero Hunt Justin Jones.
