Accident Involving Adamsville Fire Department Truck

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio–The State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident involving an Adamsville Fire Department Truck.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m. Thursday on State Route 208 near Dresden.

According to Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency Director Jeff Jadwin, the fire truck was headed to the scene of a fire on North River Road when it was coming down the hill and lost control. He said the truck then rolled and hit a tree causing it to spin around and then land.

Jadwin said both occupants of the truck were taken from the scene by medical helicopter to Columbus.
