Lt. Governor speaks at Zane State College’s 2026 Commencement

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zane State College held its 2026 Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, with Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel giving the commencement address.
Zane State College’s class of 2026 has 285 total graduates ranging from electrical/electronics engineering technology majors to business administration majors. Tressel spoke to the graduates about the importance of having an attitude of gratitude as they prepare for the next chapter in their lives.
The former Ohio State University football coach has also served as the president of Youngstown State University. Zane State said in their commencement programs that Tressel’s leadership reflects a commitment to building strong communities through education and collaboration between industry, higher education, and government partners.
