Fatal Accident at Blackhand Gorge Investigated

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says a former Muskingum County man is dead after an accident at Black Hand Gorge in Licking County on Monday. An O-D-N-R spokesman says 27-year-old Craig Bartley of Louisville, Kentucky was on a train trestle and climbed onto a tree and fell to his death.  Bartley graduated from Tri Valley High School.  Authorities took his body to the Montgomery County Coroner for an autopsy. The incident remains under investigation.
