One Killed in Licking Co. Accident

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office investigates an accident that leaves one dead.

The Sheriff’s Office said the head-on crash took place just after noon on Tuesday on Staddens Bridge Road in Madison Township.

One of the vehicles a 1996 Buick Regal was occupied by Charles and Linda Bruah. The other a 2006 Hyundai driven by 77-year-old Margaret Seymour.

Authorities said Linda Bruah was entrapped in her vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. 75-year-old Charles Bruah was taken by Life Flight to Grant Hospital in Columbus. His condition is unknown.

Seymour was taken by Life Flight to Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. Her condition is also unknown.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office and the county coroner’s office are investigating the crash.

Authorities said fault can’t be determined at this time as technical crash investigators are still on the case.
