Major Water Main Break in Dresden
If you live in the Village of Dresden you will have problems with your water service. Village officials say they are dealing with a major water main break Monday. It happened at the intersection of 9th Street and State Route 60. It is the main line from the reservoir to the village. Customers will experience low water pressure or no service until the problem can be fixed and that will take multiple hours. Dresden Mayor Dave Mathew says over 1000 homes and businesses are affected by the break which won’t be repaired until Monday evening. Mathew says once everything is fixed residents will be under a boil advisory until further notice.
