Century National Bank opens Branch in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio- A local bank is expanding to Guernsey County.

Century National Bank celebrated their grand opening of a new branch in downtown Cambridge with a ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon. Vice President and Branch Manager, Derek Boothe, explains the grand opening is part of a plan to further invest in surrounding counties.

“This is actually our first bank in Guernsey County with New Concord being just a few miles away, it’s still in Muskingum County obviously but we had plans to grow here in Guernsey  County and also the surrounding counties as well. But this is the first operation in the Guernsey County and we are looking forward to being here for sure.”

With the opening, Boothe encourages anyone with banking needs to stop in.

“We are here to serve anyone that would like to stop in. We’ve got a good experienced team here and a lot of local folks that live right here in Cambridge that are on our team right now. So we are looking forward to anyone that wants to stop by and we will help you the best that we can.”

The branch is located on 758 Wheeling Avenue across from the Courthouse and will be open from 8:30 to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and evenings and Saturday by appointments.
