FBI Questions Man in Zanesville

The Zanesville Police Department says it arrested an out of town man after being tipped off by the FBI.

Captain Chris Phipps says officers arrested 57-year-old George Webb Sweigert on a charge of Physical Control of a Vehicle while Intoxicated on Harvey Street.

Phipps says the FBI came to Zanesville and questioned Sweigert about a “dirty bomb” that shut down the Port in Charleston, South Carolina yesterday.

Police say the man claims he is from Oregon, but police say it may be Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Phipps say Sweigert is not currently in custody since he made bond this morning. Police say they have no other information to release.
