DRESDEN, OH – Get ready to rumble down at the Dresden Homecoming.

On Friday, June 19th, at 7PM the Buckeye Championship Professional Wrestling group will be putting on a free show for the community.

Adam Kurtz, the Event Promoter, says the Homecoming faced a tough loss last year when the ride company took their funds and failed to show up for the event.

“I decided to step in.” Kurtz said. “I don’t want to see what happened last year to happen again this year. So what I do, professional wrestling stuff, I can bring it to Dresden, free of charge, for the public, everyone can have a good time with that if they decide to come out and see it, it’ll be free.”

Kurtz says wrestling has been a major part of his life and he’s excited to be able to inspire the next generation of fans through events like these.

Several of the up and coming stars from the Wrestling group will be in attendance and Kurtz says they’re also planning on bringing a surprise wrestler who you won’t want to miss.

“An ECW Legend, the last ECW World Heavy Weight Champion, Rhino will be in appearance.” Kurtz said. “At the event for public appearances for autographs, photo sessions, all that stuff.”

The Dresden Homecoming kicks off on Wednesday, June 17th, and runs until Sunday June 20th, at 701 Chestnut St. in Dresden.
