ZANESVILLE, OH- A special place in Zanesville is bringing comfort to families while welcoming visitors from near and far.

Miles’ Mission Memorial Park was created to provide comfort, healing, and remembrance for families who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss.  The park features an Angel of Hope statue, a special phone to connect with loved ones who have passed, a playground, and memorial bricks dedicated to those being remembered.

“The park has come along very well. We’re thankful, excited and we appreciate the support from the community and all of those who have donated or have been a part of this. We’ve grown a lot within just the last couple of months.” Miles’ Mission President, Dr. Michael Bullock, said.

The park began taking shape in November, with a brief pause during winter months before work wrapped up in April. Since then, it has touched countless lives. Whether someone visits to honor a child, support a friend, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings, many say the park serves as a reminder that love and memories live on.

“This has been a labor of love, but I’m so thankful because it has made an impact. It’s made a difference in people’s lives, and we’re excited for the future of it.” Bullock said.

Miles Mission Memorial Park is located at 710 Military Road in Zanesville. To learn more about Miles’ Mission, upcoming events, donation opportunities, or the park, you can visit their website.
