LANCASTER, Ohio — Fry Pie Factory has issued a voluntary recall of its 5‑ounce Pepperoni Rolls due to misbranding involving undeclared milk, a known allergen, and a process deviation related to refrigeration.

The company said the Pepperoni Rolls were not stored, distributed or sold at appropriate temperatures, which may allow pathogenic growth and pose a risk of food-borne illness.

The recalled products were distributed by Fry Pie Factory throughout Ohio and parts of West Virginia in convenience stores, grocery stores and gas stations.

No illnesses have been reported. However, consumers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk may risk a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product. Anyone experiencing signs of an allergic reaction or food-borne illness should contact a health care provider immediately.

Consumers should discard the Pepperoni Rolls or return them to Fry Pie Factory for a full refund.

Customers with questions may contact Mark Thompson at 405-990-4657.
