Say “Boo” to Hunger at the Colony Square Mall’s Trick-or-Treat

ZANESVILLE, OH – A spooky fun time is coming to the Colony Square Mall.
On Thursday the 29th will be the “Mall-o-Ween” trick-or-treat starting at 5:30PM and going until 7PM with all the stores in the Mall getting in on the fun.
Jessica Brailer, the General Manager of the Colony Square Mall, says it’s also the community’s chance to say “Boo” to Hunger as they are once again partnering up with the Muskingum County Hunger Network to collect non-perishable food donations.
“I think that hunger is such a prevalent thing in our community and just across the world here.” Brailer said. “If there’s something that we can do to help our community in any way we definitely want to be a part of that and there’s a lot of wonderful non-profit organizations here in our community, so we’re thankful to partner with them and just be able to have an added element where people can give back while they’re out here having fun. So if that’s something you’re able to do, donations are more than appreciated.”
There will also be some businesses outside of the mall handing out treats and a DJ back inside playing tunes to keep the party going.
Brailer says if you want to continue with the spooky season feelings, to stop in at Perry’s Glow Put and check out the Halloween course.
“We do have for Halloween, Perry’s Glow Put, has a haunted Halloween course,” Brailer explained. “So I definitely, highly, recommend that, it’s something maybe fun that you can do before you come out and trick-or-treat or even anytime throughout the Halloween Season.”
