ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Often, learning and literacy depend on finding the right person who can provide the answers to your specific questions.
That inevitability rings true for anyone at any age. The Muskingum County Library System will be holding a Medicare discussion, which will address the many of the questions that surround Medicare and retirement.
“It is Medicare 101. And this is a program that we have had before. But as I think many folks have experienced Medicare or been around people who are experiencing or working with Medicare or on Medicare, it changes pretty frequently. So it’s important for people to be able to learn about the changes that are happening in Medicare. Or also just kind of some introductory information if you haven’t experienced it yet as well,” MCLS Marketing and Community Relations Director Sean Fennell said.
The event provides an excellent opportunity for anyone taking care of their elderly family members to figure out the best way to navigate the various healthcare options.
“So this is going to be at the John McIntire Library on Wednesday, June 17th, and it is going to be from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m.” Fennell said. “This is a registration event so that we can have a headcount for folks. So please, if you can, go onto our website, muskingumlibrary.org and just register for the event. That way we know who’s coming and kind of anticipate on how many folks.”
A representative from One Source Benefits with more than 30 years of experience will be leading the discussion that is aimed to help you understand what options are available and how you can make the best Medicare decisions.
