Fatal Accident in Guernsey County

The Cambridge Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident that happened Saturday night.  Troopers say just after 10:00 p.m. 29-year-old Carrie Ron Schrecengost of Cambridge was driving east on State Route 660, went off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and an electrical utility pole.  The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Guernsey County Coroner.  Troopers say the driver was not wearing a safety belt and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
