Shooting Incident Investigation

Zanesville Police investigate a shooting incident that took place in the area of Bob Evans on Underwood Street.

Zanesville Police Lieutenant Chris Rice said that one person claimed they were in a vehicle, Thursday, and the driver of that vehicle shot him.

The victim was able to get out of the vehicle and then went to the Bob Evans to call police.

Lt. Rice said the victim was taken to Genesis Hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
