Flooded roads and what roads are closed or open

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Rain fall throughout yesterday closed roads around the area.
Parts of state route 668 between state Route 204 and U.S. Route 40 are closed. ODOT employee Rick said at the deepest amount of water on the road is between two and two and a half feet of water. There is no timeline yet, on when this part of road will reopen. Rick says sections of 204 have reopened such as around Glass Rock and around Mount Perry. However, there are still a few inches of water covering those roads. Rick said if you are driving on those roads driving slow is crucial.
“If there is another car passing through wait until they clear,” said Rick. “Also, try to steer towards the middle so that you are able to see both sides of the road if an object comes out.”
