Two Vehicle Fatal Accident in Muskingum County

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle fatal crash on State Route 60 at Raiders Road.  It happened Friday just after 6:30 p.m.  Lt. Matt Boyd says 59-year-old Raymond Hindel of Warsaw was driving his vehicle west on Raiders Road when he failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Trever Dickson of Dresden who was traveling south on State Route 60.  Lt. Boyd says Hindel was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his vehicle and died from his injuries at the scene. Boyd says a 14-year-old male passenger in the Hindel vehicle was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and is listed in critical condition.
