Putnam Hop set for July 29

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The historic Putnam district invites the community to ‘hop’ on down.
The Putnam Hop will take place Saturday, July 29th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Muskingum Avenue. Businesses in the area will feature special promotions, art displays and live music, all in an effort to revive and restore the historic area.
“There are some people in Zanesville who might not have been to some of the businesses, so it’s a nice chance for them to get their foot in the door and see what we have to offer down here,” said Lori Wince, Brewer at Weasel Boy Brewing Company.
There will be live music at the four participating venues; The Bridge Café, The Dr. Increase Matthew’s House, Girl Upcycled and Weasel Boy Brewing Company.
The brewery will also be featuring a sweet treat.
“We’re going to do an ice cream social, we’ve done this a couple times in the past. We get 5 different flavors of Tom’s ice cream from Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl and we pair them with different beers so it’s like a beer float day and it’s a really fun time,” said Wince.
A portion of the proceeds from the ice cream social will benefit maintenance and utility costs for Restoration Park.
