A2J Crew Dance Kompany qualifies for World Dance Championship

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- An area dance company has qualified to compete with the world in New York City.

Three dances have qualified from the A2J Crew Dance Company for the second year in a row and will compete next Thursday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm, Friday August 4th at 8 am , and Sunday, August 6th at 8 am. Owner and Director, Jill McDonald, said this years theme, Gods Not Dead, focuses on the very foundation of their dance company.

“Our Gods Not Dead production was inspired by just the craving of these young kids to learn about Jesus. We are the all to Jesus crew so every Saturday we spent time with the kids not just dancing but also we would give a bible lesson.”

If anyone is interested on joining the team at A2J, McDonald said the Dancers Palooza this Saturday, July 29th at their building located at 18 South 6th Street in downtown Zanesville is a perfect opportunity.

“Third annual Dancers Palooza this Saturday, that’s a great time to come in for registration for the fall dance season and we take dancers ages 18 months all the way up through adult. We are excited to feature our ballroom dance sport class this year and so we are very excited about that. That’s going to be from 10 to 3 this Saturday the 29th of July.”
