ZAAP offering unique opportunities at Y-Bridge Arts Festival

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- ZAAP is looking to expand their community as part of their annual membership drive.

Whether you are an artist or a supporter, you are welcomed to join the Zanesville Appalachian Art Project. Artist, AnneMarie Kovach, said ZAAP offers a great platform for new artists at a small fee of 35 dollars a year.

“It offers the opportunity for new artists who can’t afford their own studio gallery space a place to display their work and be supported by other artists in the community. We also have student memberships for just 20 dollars. We encourage young artists.”

ZAAP is also offering a unique opportunity August 4-5th at the Y-Bridge Arts Festival.

“As a fundraiser each of the artists here was given the opportunity to paint a miniature painting and we sell all of those for 10 dollars. It doesn’t matter who painted it and we have artists, all kinds of local artists.”

Kovach added that any memberships purchased at the festival will be good till the end of next year.
