Y-Bridge Arts Festival kicks off with over 70 artists

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Y-Bridge Arts Festival kicked off on August 4th at Zane Landing Park.
The festival features food, entertainment, and of course art and Director, Bob Grayson, explained from over 70 artists you can find just about every form of art at the festival.
“All 75 artists now have arrived and got all their booths set up. You will see a wide range of art displays from everything from statues to sculptures to wood items, playing flutes to just any number of things you can think of.”
Grayson said the festival is a testament of the importance of art in Southeast Ohio.
“In an environment that we have it would be very easy for us not to do it. But, we also know that when you include the arts in Southeast Ohio you raise the quality of life, you raise the standard of living, you raise the opportunity for kids to have career pathways that takes them into the arts. It also gives your community a more wholesome place to market and sell it as a place to buy, to invest and build a business.”
The festival will be open again Saturday August 5th from 11 am till dark.
