Big Brothers Big Sisters hold Open House to celebrate a Big Milestone

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville celebrated a big milestone today with an open house.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is celebrating their 50th year in Zanesville since starting in 1967 and part of that celebration came in the form of an open house from 11 am to 2 pm. The event featured a DJ along with a special hot diggity dog buffet.
“We have hot dogs here that are being grilled outside and the girls have come up with some really creative ways to dress your dog. There is taco dogs, there is all different kinds of ways. We have a lot of toppings.” said Executive Director, Jenni Masterson.
Along with food and entertainment, Masterson noted a unique opportunity presented today that benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters.
“We also have a Carnival Line Cruise company here that is selling cruises. Our DJ, Kurtis Nichols, is going to be on this cruise and every cabin sold they are donating 50 dollars to us at Big Brothers Big Sisters.
