Cambridge Fatal Accident Investigated

The Cambridge Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident. Troopers say just after 12:30 p.m. Thursday there was a single vehicle accident on I-70 in Guernsey County involving a pedestrian. The patrol says 66-year-old Jack Emerick of Washington, Pennsylvania was driving west on I-70 when he struck 65-year-old Robert Crouse of Dublin, Ohio who fell from a commercial vehicle that was disabled on the north berm. Crouse was pronounced dead at the scene by the Guernsey County Coroner. The accident remains under investigation
