ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A local Hair Salon – Barber Shop is providing school aged children with a free hair cut.

Prince of Cuts is inviting students to come in Monday August 21, 2017 to get their back to school free hair cut. Owner Prince Fields said him and stylist’s Mariah Watts and Jocelyn Martin wanted to give school supplies and hair cuts to those who need them.

“We just want to give back, because we know what it’s like for some parents that can’t afford it and some parents that can afford it,” Fields said. “It will take a little bit of weight off their shoulders as well.”

Prince of Cuts is offering first come first serve hair cuts starting at 9:00 in the morning. Fields said all are welcomed and invited.

“We felt like the community gives to us a lot and if it wasn’t for the community, we wouldn’t be in a position we are in,” Fields said. “We just feel like it’s important to give back to the community. You know, to show our appreciation.”
