DUNCAN FALLS, Ohio- Showers and storms dampened plans on August 19th at Sam Hatfield Stadium.

The rain prompted the cancellation of the 5k walk and run in memory of Skyler Gilkerson who tragically passed away in an automobile accident. Head Cross Country Coach for Philo, Jamie Williams, said despite the rain there was a good turnout for registration.

“We had an amazing turnout today. We couldn’t be more appreciative to the Duncan Falls, Philo community along with the Muskingum Valley Cross Country Teams and the running community in Muskingum County. The donors that have committed their time and energy for this event have been second to none. we are looking forward to getting everybody back here and put ion a quality event to benefit a fabulous family.”

The event will be rescheduled in the near future. The cost for registration is donation based and money raised will go to the Gilkerson Family.
