Charlotte D. Wilson

Charlotte D. Wilson, 88 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospice Morrison House on Thursday, October 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 17, 1938, in Philo, a daughter of the late Herbert and Mabel (Smith) Wentworth. Charlotte dedicated her life to working at Mid-East as a cook for many years until her retirement. In her younger years, Charlotte took great pride in participating in Girl Scout activities, where she was Cookie Chairman for several years. She also enjoyed sewing- including blankets for the Salvation Army, crocheting, crafting, as well as spending time with her beloved family.

Charlotte is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Jack C. Wilson, whom she married in 1968; children, Teresa (Jerry) Watts, Debra Anderson, Darla (Russ) Wagner, Stanley Wilson, Clarence Anderson, Stephanie Anderson, and Deanne (Carrie) Sadler; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her step-children, Kristy Wilson and Scott Wilson; brother, Myron Wentworth; and her sister, Betty Thompson.

A graveside service will take place at 3 PM on Monday, November 2, 2026, at the Stovertown Lutheran Church Cemetery, at 6575 Center Road, Roseville, Ohio, 43777. Pastor Darren Tolbert will officiate her service.
